Wow! We are actually getting in the Yule spirit.

Today we went Christmas shopping at Fry’s Electronics. One of the items we picked up was White Christmas. I have set-up a Yule playlist and purchased some more Christmas mp3s (Peanuts Christmas, Country Christmas and piano versions of Trans-Siberian Orchestra Christmas music) from Amazon’s mp3 service.

We have also put up our tree. At first we weren’t going to do this. We have a 17 pound cat (Alastor) who is barely two years old. We were afraid he would pull down the tree. I had an idea. I secured the tree to a corner that sticks out in our living room. After we got it set-up and somewhat decorated (we need some more basic ornaments), both boy cats laid down on the tree skirt under the tree. Unfortunately, Alastor decided to pull down one of the ornaments a short time later. I will most likely be posting pictures tomorrow.
