I find myself wondering where are the people screaming about injustice, sexism, and racism in this case.
1. A similar woman in Florida fires off a warning shot under somewhat questionable circumstances, and there is an uproar.
2. A football player in New Jersey beats a woman unconscious and then drags her out of an elevator by her hair. He is let off into a diversion program so it won't "ruin his life." This resulted in a minor ruckus.
3. This woman can legally own and carry a firearm. She accidentally drove into New Jersey. Got pulled over and did the right thing by telling the officer she was armed. The prosecutor (same one as the football player) is throwing the book at her. She is looking at almost 4 years in prison. There is hardly anybody talking about this. Why? It doesn't fit the narrative.
To be honest, IMO, concealed carry licenses need to have national reciprocity. It is now legal to carry everywhere in the USA. It just that states have wildly varying standards as to whose permits they will honor. There are various standards for getting a drivers license in this country. Yet, your driver's license is good in every state of this country.
