It’s A Good Thing Our Enemies Are Incompetent

Terrorist Tried to blow Up Northwest Airlines flight from Amsterdam to Detroit – The authorities are saying that this was a a fairly sophisticated device. It is a good thing that the idiot set himself on fire rather than blowing up the plane. Passengers and the cabin crew subdued and confined him until the plane landed. He claims to have obtained the device and instructions on how to use it in Yemen.

It is a good thing that terrorists are not as intelligent and creative as my friends. If they did, we would have already experienced other attacks. But, maybe their leadership has realized that such attacks would not be good for them. Another successful attack in the USA, at the minimum, would result in the current administration either toughening its stance toward them or losing power.
