Is There Really an Ammo Shortage

Ammunition Shortage Squeezes Police

I personally have not had obtaining ammo in any caliber. Now, I have had to go to other suppliers/brands and pay more than I did last year. My question for supply people in these departments is:

Are you limited by budget or contracts, or are you just to lazy to look for other suppliers or brands of ammo?

 For everybody else, have you had problems finding ammo for your weapons?
