This Is Troubling

US military accused of harboring fundamentalism

Subject of the article: A service member is suing the Defense Department and Defense Secretary Robert Gates for religious oppression. It is claimed an officer threatened him and other member’s of an authorized atheist group. Also, a group claims to have 6800 complaints from military personnel (mostly Christians) about attempts to make them accept a fundamentalist interpretation of Christianity.

My Opinion: Correct me if I’m wrong. But, isn’t religious oppression against the UCMJ. If it isn’t, it should be. If it is, any officers an/or NCOs taking part in this kind of behaviour should kicked out of the service.
