Teen Arrested For Creative Writing Essay

Summary: Teen is told not to censor his writing and write about whatever he wants. He writes about a violent and sexual dream he had. The teacher turns the boy in for counseling and the school has him arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct.  What was the disorderly conduct? Upsetting his creative writing teacher.

From the description of the essay, the kid needs counseling.  However, arresting the kid and throwing him out of school was overreacting in the extreme. When did it become a crime to upset someone? If that is the case, the vast majority of drivers in this country need to be locked away for life.
